Ok, you all remember how i've rambled on about the book i'm reading along with right? London Macabre by Steve Savile. Oh my word what a novel. It's all coming together beautifully.Anyway i'm being a little bit naughty because I asked the lovely Joe Morey but he didn't respond, which I have taken as acquiesence so I am posting the proposed cover image. How gorgeous is that! It's perfectly in keeping with the book which (paraphrasing his agent and publisher) may be the most significant work of his career. Silver is due out pretty soon and I am really looking forward to it but my loves, London Macabre is as dark and blasphemous as a body could wish for and I CAN NOT WAIT. I am torn between absolute bliss and the torture of waiting for another couple of thousand words to land in my inbox. Stee, whatever you are doing right now, stop and write more. 'K? great. I know i've really broken out the pom-poms on this one, but it's totally deserving. So a mysterious gentlemens club where every one has secrets, a cult focused on bringing evil back into the world and a myriad of monsters, demons and the sort of dead you know you want to read it!

Wow, that is beautiful! Fallen Angel-ish. Will have to look into this story :-)
EH - you aren't far off in some ways, although more paranormal.
Aarti - yup those too. :)
Honestly I love this story so much and fingers crossed it will be out fairly early next year. Best thing, I get to read it as it's written, literally day by day sometimes.
Well day by day if I can get my arse into gear ;)
Thanks for the comments guys- Frank Walls is incredibly talented. I think the cover really comes close to capturing the atmosphere of the book... but you'll have to trust Hagelrat on that ...
I think it's about bang on, nice one Frank!
CHris is right, the cover is awesome!
I know, I can't wait to hold a copy. :)
