As with any anthology I have my favourites but over all I have to say the quality of this anthology was especially good. Maybe because you have to be a little unusual to start with to consider writing a zombie romance.
The stories fell into three broad groups, romance between or with a zombie, romance occuring during or due to the zombie apocalypse and haitian style zombies.
At the beginning we see a man who can't live without his wife having her brought back, it may not be the most satisfying relationship, but she is still there. We are also treated to a therapist who falls for her client while trying to teach him to pass as human, a nerd saving a receptionist and two zombies falling in love while patching up each others dropping off body parts.
Among my favourite stories are Revenants Anonymous which is a sweet tale and a loose description. Become too apathetic about life and risk slipping into zombification, almost an extreme and physical form of depression, but maybe in falling in love there is redemption.
I adored Kilt Kilpatrick's slightly silly schoolboy superhero dream style Last Times at Ridgepoint High, some boys aren't really appreciated until there is an apocalypse and Dana Fredsti (aka Inara LaVey) delivered as always with humour and character when a date ends in a zombie attack and takes a life affirming turn. Finally Jaime Saare's I Heart Brains is frivolous body swapping fun.
Ok, so if your definition of zombie is a loss of personal identity some of these stories are not going to work for you, but there are some here that work on the best Romero level. All in all a very silly and very well written zomrom anthology.

Sounds good, pass a copy on to my dad for me? <3
It's an ebook, if you want to review it I expect I can send it straight to you. :)
And Inara/Dana gives this review TWO thumbs up. Or three - I borrowed one from a dead friend. :-)
Great review, Hagelrat!
I'm still reading it in dribs and drabs myself but I loved it as well.
My only complaint so far is that I wish some of the stories would keep going! I think you got all my favorites so far too, though I also loved the twisted story "Captive Hearts" - worthy of Clive Barker!
Who knew zombies would make for such a great romance collection?
Dana, I am so keeping my thumbs away from you.
Dave - ta love, oooh Clive Barker, he is a god.
Sounds wonderful -- already sold by the list of authors!
Zombie Anthology huh? Where can I get this from...I love anthologies and I love Zombies!

This looks so awesome! I would love to read this!
guys, Hungry for your love is sold through Ravenous Romance (google them) but is far from the typical romance anthology. :)
Hey There ;-)
I just wanted to comment and say I'm glad you enjoyed I Heart Brains (in some capacity, I know it goes from him >> to her >> to resolution). I wanted to write a longer story, but due to time restrictions, had to make the story 5k or less.
