Writers Reading - Mark Charan Newton

Hagelrat
Writers Reading is a feature that allows us (me) to take a look at writers reading habits (be extremely nosy). The third author to kindly let us poke around their shelves is Mark Charan Newton author of the utterly brilliant and hugely entertaining Nights of Villjamur.
Check out our reviews and our interview with Mark.
MCN:
I almost don't want to say much, but rather let the pictures speak for themselves - in their raw messy state, without any justification or plug, because it'll be obvious from these what I like. Apart from I should mention that "My grandfather made the smaller set of shelves for me, and I rescued the typewriter from a friend who was going to throw it away."

noo! Rats, they were fine on my laptop when I checked and I can never see them in the office. Will have to have another look when I get home. Sorry. Aargh. Serves me right for scheduling things when I can't check them properly.

I know, I love the typewriter too. *sigh* writers have the best bookshelves. ;)

Wonderful old typewriter -- is it still being used?

Love the shelves... I have this strong urge to fly over and put the books in order (left to right - biggest to smallest).
:-)

Kate - no idea but isn't it gorgeous.
Cat - come visit me. *grin*

I've seen your bookcases - obviously you need more shelf space... lol ;-)
