First of all huge apologies for posting this on Chris's day but I had already agreed to post one of them today before I knew you were back love.

Alt. Fiction Bursaries

Literature Northants is pleased to be able to offer three bursaries to Northamptonshire residents for the Alt.Fiction festival in Derby on Saturday 12th June . The bursary will cover the price of their ticket (worth £25) plus travel expenses up to the value of £50.

To apply, send your CV, three short examples of your work (links to online work preferable) and a covering letter explaining why you should be awarded the bursary to Kate Wilkinson, Literature Development Officer: kwilkinson@northamptonshire.gov.uk. To be eligible for the bursaries you must be a Northamptonshire resident. Your application should be emailed by 12 noon on Monday 24th May 2010. Successful applicants will be notified in the week commencing 31st May. Unfortunately, we will not be able to notify unsuccessful applicants

MITCHELL CARTOON OFFER

Second, creator of the awesome Mitchell the cat, Steve Ince, is offering the opportunity to post your Mitchell cartoon! You just need to send your submission to "steve at steve-ince.co.uk" and if he likes it, he'll run it.

Also, because I love Mitchell so much that I wear the T-shirt (s) I will offer a Mitchell mug to Steve's favourite submission from among our Un:Bound readers. Make sure you let him know we sent you.

It will be the basic white mug but you can choose which design you want or we can see if Steve will make your cartoon available as a mug and i'll get it shipped out to you. If Un:Bound contributors wish to enter it's all good because I am not picking the winner.
