So in honour of my awesome decision here are sample pages from One Piece, by Siichiro Oda and little blurbs as to why I chose them :3
I chose this page (above) cause it nicely shows the general humour of the series (remember to read it left<-right or right to left). The crew have found evidence of an island in the sky and the captain, Straw-Hat Luffy is DETERMINED to get up there. However, the navigator, Nami, insists it's impossible but, seeing the dismay of the crew, quicklly gives in (since it's easier for everyone that way).
This two-page spread is probably the most inspiring picture I have ever seen (in context). The pirate crew have helped to save a small country from civil war and befriended the princess in doing so. Because of something I can't really explain without incurring the wrath of the Spoiler-Deity (forgive me), the group marked their left arms with X's to prove their identities to each other (like a password) and as a symbol of their friendship. After the trouble is over, it's obvious that the princess can't travel with them, but she asks them, shouting across the sea, if they are still friends. With the authorities nearby, the pirates realise that shouting back "YES" will only get her into trouble, so they all turn away. Crying, the princess is about to leave when they all lift their arms in a silent, but strong affirmation of their friendship, and inspired, the princess does the same.
Jeez, I'm getting chills thinking about it.
So yeah, my reviews will get a lot more picture booky in future- enjoy :)

Nice! I may even have to read the comic to find out exactly WHY they have those x's on their arms... es
Dana - I am trying very hard not to get sucked in by MC at the moment, have too much to read.
And I'm doing my best to suck you all in! I will win this!
