I'll admit i'd completely forgotten this was happening untill I saw Rachel's tweet, but hey, that's why we obsess over our social media right?
Anyway At 5:30 I ambled into my less close, much smaller and somehow better for a genre fan, Waterstones of the two in Leicester andpicked up my copy of her lates book. About 5:45 I finally conceeded and took to the queue which just kept growing. I immediately strted grumbling on twitter because I really hate queues but it all ran smoothly so I shouldn't complain really.
Rachel wasvery pleasant and didn't try to rush people through so she could be in and out quickly, so yay for people who mnage to stay cheerful and lovely on these single author single file style signings (seriously guys, you could learn a trick or two from forbidden planet, especially when it comes to genre fans). I got the book signed, spoke briefly got my bookmark delivered and a photo and headed home.
I have reviewed some of Rachel's books so do chekc our archives if you are a fan.
